What we use

Eatlanka sets only the cookies it needs for the site to work. Because they are necessary, they do not need your consent, but you can still clear or block them in your browser — the basket and signing in will then not work.

• Signing in: a session cookie and a refresh cookie keep you signed in, and a small readable “session hint” tells the page that you are signed in. They last until you sign out, or 7 days without a visit (12 hours for staff).
• Security: a cookie holding a token that stops other sites making requests in your name. It lasts as long as your visit.
• Your basket: a cookie that keeps the basket of a visitor who has not signed in, for up to 7 days.
• Your currency: if you choose a currency, a cookie remembers your choice.
• Signing in with Google, and a staff sign-in code: short-lived cookies for the few minutes each takes.

Set by others

• Cloudflare’s check, on sign-in and a few other forms, may set a cookie to tell people from automated programs.
• Google’s page translation sets cookies only if you choose a language other than English.
• Our payment provider’s page sets its own cookies while you pay there.

Our advertising partners, only if you choose Accept when the site asks: their cookies measure how our advertising performs and record the pages you view here. They never run on sign-in, account, checkout, order-tracking or staff pages, and they are not sent your basket, your orders or your details. Your answer is kept in a cookie for six months; to change it, clear the site’s cookies and the site will ask again.

We use no other analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies.
